Getting there from your terminal
From a domestic terminal
After baggage claim, leave by the west end of the terminal (door W1 from North Terminal, W2 from South Terminal). Follow 'Rental Car Center' signs across the covered walkway, take the escalator up to the ATL SkyTrain. Free, runs 24/7, about 5 minutes. Rental Car Center is the second stop.
From the international terminal
Take the free shuttle bus from the arrivals level and follow 'Rental Car Center' signs. Company pages differ: some describe a shuttle to the Rental Car Center, Hertz describes a shuttle to the Domestic Terminal (about 10 minutes) and then the SkyTrain. Allow extra time.
Good to know: Construction is under way around the airport, so follow the signs on the day. The SkyTrain to the rental cars is separate from the Plane Train, which runs between concourses.
